ADRCI in 11g.

While i was trying to check the alert log in 11g. I knew that the .log was replaced by xml files. I tried to open the xml file in xml editor and notepad i recieved the error

on investigation i found that adcri is the tool which should be used to view logs in 11g..

adrci> show alert

Please select option: 2 (For alert log)
Output the results to file: c:\users\sandeep\appdata\local\temp\alert_1364_7796_sandeep_1.ado
